Surprise Gift

I woke up excited

ready for presents

I opened smaller gifts first

Keeping the big box for last

I finally opened the last present

Crunch! Crunch! as the wrapping tore

To my surprise it was a segway

The item I’ve wanted was here

Surprise Present

Early in the morning

Excited for presents

Crunch! Crunch! the wrapping tears

I open many presents

Saving the big box for last

Finally I get to the last present

Inside was the best gift

A segway

Is Communicating or Technology Better?

There is a large number of similarities between communicating in technology and in person. When you’re talking online and in person you can use creativity with your brain. You can show your creativity by sharing ideas on messages, Skype, or even Instagram. Both talking face to face with a person or texting can be time consuming. People can go on and on about what they did on the weekend on a device or talking relatively close to you. Either way there are still bullies. Cyberbullies are the people that same mean comments on a device. Studies have shown most people are victims of cyber bulling. Other types of bullies you could see at school, the mall, and etc..

These two topics both have similarities, but they also have differences. Distance is an issue for people that want to talk in person, unless you want to travel long hours to communicate. Technology can allow you to speak to someone in a different country while trying to talk in person from a distance isn’t so easy. Technology is unreliable when it comes to calls. Cellular devices tend to cut sound out of calls, or the phone might end the call itself! Talking in person is reliable because you can hear clearly, and don’t have to worry hearing. Communicating in person or in technology has some good things and some drawbacks, but are some good ways to talk to your loved ones.

GS Project Reflection

Me and my class mates did a presentations and rated each others work.  I was impressed with my results there were almost all positive. I enjoyed seeing the results to my project and can’t wait to do another presentation again.

Jackie Mitchell

I can’t believe there’s a girl pitcher on the Lookouts! Her name is Jackie Mitchell. She can throw amazing curve balls! She just struck out Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig! The crowd is cheering for her! What an amazing women! She will go down in history.
